    Selar is a social impact leader and knowledge expert, with 20+ years’ social sector experience in APAC, raising $200M+ in future income growth to cornerstone clients, delivered ESG framework development including impact investment criteria, and forming an innovative $100M impact investment fund for property.

  • Lauren James

    CO-FOUNDER & DIRECTOR

    Lauren is a social sector expert in marketing and channel distribution, with strengths in operational systems and processes, training, workforce deployment, stakeholder and relationship management, sales and business development. Lauren also serves on the board of an industry regulatory and ethics body.

  • Joel Nicholson

    CO-FOUNDER & DIRECTOR

    Joel is a data and technology crusader who has a passion to help build a more collaborative and customer/ donor-centric future. Joel is a serial entrepreneur, including leading MarketSoft, a data-driven services company servicing both commercial and social sectors. He holds multiple investment and board interests.

  • Russell Alcorn

    DIRECTOR

    Russell, a Vietnam veteran, is an accomplished entrepreneur and business owner, bringing decades of strategic experience across multiple sectors. Over nearly 20 years, Russ has developed extensive interests in PNG, focusing on circular economy initiatives, Landowner consultancy, and climate change activities.

    DIRECTOR

    Joseph is a distinguished expert in governance and Papua New Guinea’s socio-economic landscape over the last 30 years. With extensive experience in policy development, stakeholder engagement, and local governance frameworks, he has contributed significantly to education and government institutions.

    CHIEF EXECUTIVE, GROUP ACTIVITY

    Selar is the founder of FutureValue. As Chief Executive, he is responsible for all multi-national activities, balancing profit, people and planet. Based in New Zealand and regularly in Papua New Guinea, he is focused on FutureValue becoming the leading regenerative development company globally.

  • Lauren James

    DIRECTOR, GROUP OPERATIONS

    Lauren is responsible for operations across the entire group of companies, ensuring resource requirements are smoothly distributed for delivery of its regenerative development activities. Based in Australia, Lauren is also the Executive Director of the Future Value Foundation.

  • Paula Kensington

    DIRECTOR, GROUP FINANCE

    Paula is a finance professional with 30+ years experience as CFO across the UK and Australia. Based in Australia, she is bringing her expertise under contract as Director, Group Finance, helping FutureValue go beyond the numbers and achieve its ambitious growth objectives globally.

    Adrian is a USA-based environmental consultant with deep expertise in carbon management and sustainability. He helps organisations across sectors navigate carbon markets, reduce emissions, and achieve meaningful, climate-positive outcomes.

    Andrew has bachelor's degrees in psychology, social anthropology and international development. He explores the interplay between cultural, environmental, economic and business systems. Based in New Zealand, he is passionate about preserving cultural heritage in modern contexts.

    Peter is a leader in sustainable development with expertise in policy development, community empowerment and strategic planning. Based in Papua New Guinea, he has extensive experience fostering local capacity and creating impactful solutions to drive long-term positive change.

    SUSTAINABLE FINANCE OFFICER

    Luc is a finance and sustainability professional based in Papua New Guinea, with experience across Southeast Asia and the Pacific. He supports inclusive development through work in climate resilience, community energy access, and sustainable livelihoods.

    DATA INTERN

    Ashish is a data and strategy professional passionate about data-for-good. He supports FutureValue through impactful insights and, as part of Operations, analyses socio-economic survey data to inform baseline assessments and guide impact investment opportunities.
